A: No. Our AI models run locally on USAEV.Press infrastructure. Your content is NEVER sent to third-party AI providers like OpenAI or Anthropic. We may use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our models, but never your specific content.
A: The Longevity Score (0-100) measures how long your press release stays relevant. It combines: SEO retention (30%), AI citations (30%), backlinks (20%), and view velocity (20%). Higher scores indicate better lasting impact.
A: After creating and publishing a release, go to the release detail page → Distribute tab. Choose from wire services (IssueWire, EIN Presswire, etc.), social media platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Bluesky), or news aggregators.
A: Yes! When creating or editing a press release, set the status to "Scheduled" and choose your desired publication date and time. The release will automatically publish at the scheduled time.

A: First, ensure Ollama is running (check status in Settings). If you're on a self-hosted instance, verify the Ollama service is active. If problems persist, contact support with the error message you're seeing.

A: SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) lets you send press releases from YOUR email domain (e.g., press@yourcompany.com) instead of platform emails. This improves deliverability, builds trust, and looks more professional to journalists.

A: If "Use fallback" is enabled (default), emails automatically send via our platform SMTP. You'll be notified of the failure and can fix your settings without losing emails.
A: Yes! All SMTP passwords are encrypted with AES-256-CBC encryption before storage. Even our administrators cannot see your passwords. Your credentials are completely secure.
A: Yes! Set daily and monthly limits in SMTP Settings. This prevents accidental over-sending and helps manage costs. When limits are reached, sends pause automatically.
A: Go to Analytics → Email Logs. See every email sent, delivery status, which SMTP was used (yours or platform), timestamps, and error messages. All tracked in real-time.
A: No problem! Emails automatically send via our platform SMTP. You can configure your own SMTP anytime. We recommend it for better branding and deliverability.
A: Go to Journalists → Upload, select your CSV file, and click Upload. The system validates emails, detects duplicates, and imports contacts to your private database. Download our CSV template for the correct format.

A: Duplicates are automatically detected and skipped. The upload report shows how many duplicates were found. This prevents duplicate contacts in your database.
A: No! Your journalist database is completely private. Each account has isolated contacts with Row Level Security. Even other users on the same plan cannot access your contacts.
A: You can upload files with 1,000+ contacts in a single CSV. The system processes large uploads efficiently. Contact limits depend on your plan (see pricing).
A: Beats are topics journalists cover (technology, sports, business, etc.). Use pipe-separated values: "technology|startups|ai". This helps auto-match journalists to your press releases.
A: Yes! View your contacts list and edit any field. You can also add new contacts manually or upload additional CSV files. Changes are instant.
A: Go to Journalists → Export to download your complete contact list as CSV. This includes all custom fields and upload history. Great for backups.

A: Yes! Export from Muck Rack/Cision as CSV, then upload to DakPress. Our system accepts any CSV with name and email columns. Map other fields as needed.
