Money Smarts seeks banking collaborators to launch tailored accounts

Publisher expands financial-literacy ecosystem through bank collaborations

Severance, October 5, 2026 -- Money Smarts, the publisher of "Money Smarts: A Practical Guide For Parents: The Trump Account Handbook," is actively seeking partnerships with banks to introduce co-branded accounts. The initiative aims to blend educational content with everyday banking services.

The partnership model will allow banks to offer accounts that incorporate Money Smarts curriculum, interactive tools, and real-time financial guidance. Participants will benefit from shared branding and joint marketing campaigns.

Money Smarts was founded on decades of hands-on experience in finance, credit systems, bankruptcy, and business consulting. The brand emerged to address a persistent gap in practical financial education.

Founder and CEO Dan Kost recognized that most existing resources either oversimplify the subject or drown readers in jargon. His vision was to create material that is both accessible and actionable.

Building on the success of the "Money Smarts: Financial Affairs" book series, Kost expanded the portfolio to include the newly released guide for parents. The series has sold over 250,000 copies nationwide.

Today, Money Smarts has evolved into a full-scale financial-literacy ecosystem. Offerings now include educational games for children and adults, a daily financial news feed, professional certification programs, and expert consulting on bankruptcy and business restructuring.

"Our goal is to bring financial confidence into the daily lives of consumers," said Dan Kost, CEO of Money Smarts. "By partnering with banks, we can embed education directly into the products people use every day."

For banks, the collaboration offers a differentiated product line that can attract younger customers and families seeking financial guidance. Co-branding also reinforces a bank’s commitment to community education.

Consumers stand to gain a seamless blend of banking convenience and practical education. Early pilots indicate that users who engage with the integrated tools improve savings rates by up to 12 percent within six months.

National surveys show that 63 percent of adults feel inadequately prepared to manage personal finances. The partnership directly addresses this shortfall by delivering education at the point of transaction.

Market research projects a $4.2 billion demand for integrated financial-education products by 2028. Money Smarts is positioned to capture a share of this emerging market through its bank alliances.

A pilot program will launch in three regional banks later this quarter, targeting a combined customer base of 150,000. The pilot will test user engagement, compliance workflows, and joint marketing effectiveness.

Compliance teams have mapped the solution to federal banking regulations, ensuring that all educational content meets consumer protection standards. Ongoing audits will be conducted jointly.

The partnership will operate on a revenue-share model, with banks receiving a percentage of subscription fees for premium educational content. Co-branding guidelines will be co-developed to maintain brand integrity.

In a recent collaboration with a community credit union, the joint account program increased new account openings by 18 percent within three months. Participants reported higher satisfaction scores.

Banks interested in joining the initiative are encouraged to contact Money Smarts directly to discuss integration timelines and customization options. Early adopters will receive priority access to upcoming features.

Looking ahead, Money Smarts plans to extend the partnership model to educational institutions and nonprofit organizations, further broadening its impact on financial literacy across demographics.

Through strategic collaborations, Money Smarts aims to become the leading conduit for practical financial education embedded in everyday banking experiences.
